I wanted "Sleeveless Hearts” to sound like those final summer nights of late adolescence—boisterous, bleary-eyed, epic. I borrowed elements from from Last Broadcast-era Doves and Second Sight-era Hey Rosetta. The moment this groove arrived, I couldn't get it out of my head. The finished track makes me want to dance and scream-sing like I do when I'm drunk and happy and don't care how stupid I look. I hope it makes you feel the same -JK
